Prize winning beer

I am proud to say I am now a prize winning brewer. My beer took second place in the Kansas City Irish Festival's brewing contest. It's not exactly a medal at GABF but it is still an exciting event for me.

  14. Grats! I'm still extract brewing with a small setup in my small apartment. One of these days I might try brew in a bag to get into all grain brewing.

    Grats again!

  23. Congratulations from Chattanooga, Tennessee! I'm the organizer for a BJCP-sanctioned homebrew competition called McHale's Monthly Mashout. As the name implies, we have the competition every month. I know we're a little far from you but we'd love to have your beer in our competition. The winner gets to brew their recipe with McHale's brewmaster and the brew is featured on tap for a month thereafter. Since I like seeing stories like yours make the Reddit front page, I'll pay your entry fee for one of the competitions. Check out mchalesmonthly.com for details and use the contact link to email me with any questions you may have. Registration for this month's has closed but we can get you in next month's for sure.

Also, I'm going to browse through your blog and make some comments here and there. I assume you're open to suggestions, right?

    Thanks,
    Brad
